Music is the brandy of the damned.

Music warms my soul and comforts me like nothing else. It has been my constant companion from the time I was born. Are you just as fascinated by it? It is my absolute passion. I have just completed a second BA and am preparing for grad studies in musicology. My tastes run the gamut...from Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds to Henryk Gorecki to Aimee Mann to Steely Dan to Thurston Moore and ELO. I am a large attractive woman looking for someone who loves to talk about music and enjoys checking out new sounds and hitting little clubs in the underground scene for the fantastic and the terrible! I have other interests outside of music including good conversation, cards, board games, watching hockey, lookin' at art, digging movies - usually indie flicks (the Coen brothers are some of my faves) and if it's cheap and a little weird, I'm probably up for it! I am very open minded, kind, unconventional, wickedly funny with an easy smile, and I love to laugh! I have to confess that I like to swear, but I am a polite, well-mannered lady when I need to be. I hang out with misfits, oddballs and characters because interesting people fascinate me...I feel at home with them...but being odd is not necessarily a required personal trait.
